Furniture Plan
The placement of seating areas is also carefully considered in this project. You can notice how we sectioned the plan design to consider individual and group seatings.
The main objective of this project was to create a space that is visually stimulating, with contrasting elements that would catch the eye and create a sense of intrigue for the customers.
Interior Design
The first contrast that greets visitors to the restaurant is the combination of light and dark. The outskirts of the restaurant are dark, creating a sense of intimacy and seclusion. The center of the restaurant is a stark contrast, with bright white light that is almost blinding. This creates a sense of drama and draws the eye to the center of the restaurant.
Main Hall
We created comfortable and secluded spaces for several people to sit together in the main hall, while also placing single seats that overlook the greenhouse area.
Bar Hall
Texture is another key component of the design. The smooth wood used in the furniture contrasts with the rough, old wood used on shared tables. This creates a sense of history and nostalgia, which adds to the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. Polished stone floors contrast with rough plaster walls, creating a sense of depth and texture that is both visually appealing and inviting.
Greenhouse Hall
The bright lights and greenery used in this area contrasts with the warm darker areas for the rest of the design, while the warm and pleasant wood used in the furniture and fixtures contrasts with the cold and hard steel used in this area. This combination creates a sense of balance and adds depth to the design.
In conclusion, this restaurant interior design project successfully achieves its goal of creating a visually stimulating space that is both inviting and comfortable. The use of contrasting elements, from light and dark to materials and textures, creates a sense of balance and depth that adds to the overall dining experience.
