The Stone & Walnut Villa

The fireplace is set into a textured stone base, with lit display niches in the wall beside it. Sheer curtains soften the daylight from the full-height glazing, and a dark marble coffee table adds contrast to the neutral palette.

A marble block coffee table and a timber table sit side by side at the centre of the seating area. The fireplace wall combines stone cladding, a large abstract panel and lit shelving set into bronze-lined niches.

An olive tree in a marble planter sits in front of the lit onyx panels, giving the room a natural focal point. The kitchen bar opens off one side, while sliding glazing on the other leads to the pool terrace.

The rounded chair sits in front of the stone fireplace, with lit niches and ceramic pieces behind it. Warm sunlight across the marble floor brings out the texture of the fabric, rug and stone.

The chandelier hangs in loose loops through the tall space, filling the volume without blocking the view. A timber-lined corridor leads off the room, and the palm garden and pool deck sit directly beyond the glass.

Three materials sit side by side at the centre of the seating area, each set at a different height. The textured rug, olive cushions and bouclé chair keep the colour palette soft and natural.

Lit shelving on either side frames the tall fireplace wall, which rises the full height of the room. A low L-shaped sofa faces the garden, with an olive bouclé chair and an olive tree completing the setting.

The bronze stair wall wraps around an indoor garden of olive trees, ferns and rocks at its base. Light strips beneath each tread and a glass balustrade keep the stair light and open.

Timber columns with inset lighting frame the view through the hall to the pool beyond. The living room opens on one side and the dining room on the other, with the stair and planted garden at the centre.

A recessed timber ceiling defines the dining zone, with the rope chandelier hanging over the length of the table. A decorative bronze screen beside the onyx wall adds texture and catches the light.

Tall alabaster floor lamps stand on either side of the window, framing the garden view behind the sofa. Floor-to-ceiling curtains add height and soften the light across the room.

Backlit shelving with marble back panels runs the full width of the wall, flanked by glass-fronted display cabinets. The waterfall marble island has concealed lighting along its base and seats five facing the open shelving.
