The Atrium House

Small bronze-toned tiles line the full-height niche, washed by concealed lighting from above and below. Dark timber frames the vanity and the display shelving opposite, with stone-backed niches lit from within.

The vertical light fitting sits within a recess in the travertine-toned wall, giving the corner a soft, even glow. Deep green upholstery adds a single accent colour against the neutral stone, fabric and sheer curtains.

The fire runs along a low travertine base beneath full-height cabinetry, so the hearth reads as part of the joinery. The bench’s ribbed upholstery and the rough-edged stone table bring texture to the grey palette.

Lit rods at different heights fill the ceiling space and reflect in the glazing after dark. Stone wall panels, a planted feature wall and low sofas arranged around carved stone tables complete the room.

Slim bronze rods with stone inserts divide the spaces while keeping views open between them. A backlit travertine wall with a textured artwork and a floating console closes the far end of the room.

Travertine-clad fins frame the view past the table to the planted atrium and the stair beyond. Sheer curtains on one side filter daylight across the stone table and upholstered chairs.

The figures run in a regular grid, rising across the panelled wall beneath the curved timber ceiling. Bronze swivel chairs and tufted sofas sit symmetrically in front, keeping the composition balanced and calm.

Concealed lighting traces the edges of the travertine panels, framing the dark textured artwork at the centre. Timber cabinets with stone-backed niches on either side give the wall a symmetrical, ordered composition.

Full-height timber units hold storage and appliances along one wall, with a stone backsplash lit from beneath. Linear ceiling lights and slim pendants run along the table axis, linking the kitchen to the lounge beside it.

The timber ceiling steps in soft waves along its edge, set above a stone and textured-panel wall. Bronze swivel chairs, low cream sofas and dark fluted tables are grouped around a built-in media wall.

Bronze-framed glass panels separate the lounge from the circulation core without blocking light or views. Inside the screen, a planted display and a lit floating stair become part of the room’s backdrop.

Suspended globes at varying heights fill the tall volume and draw the eye toward the upper-floor opening. Rounded cream seating faces the garden, with the open kitchen set behind it along the back wall.

Overlapping rugs in rust and charcoal define the seating zones within one open space. A stacked sculptural column and a planted display behind the glass add depth toward the circulation core.

Rough-cut stone contrasts with the smooth travertine panels and timber reveals behind it. Water jets from the fountain and branches of the indoor tree frame the corner in the foreground.

Water jets ring the tree inside a travertine basin, with a curved dark bench set along one side. Brass inlays in the floor echo the circle of the dome, marking the atrium as the point where the living areas, stair and lift meet.
